ReportingTools

The "ReportingTools" software is a package for processing and sharing complex data generated from computational analyses. This tool transforms the output of numerous common Bioconductor packages into rich, interactive, HTML-based reports, making data more accessible and intuitive for collaborators. Unlike generic reports, ReportingTools creates reports tailored to the specific type of result it detects, featuring sortable, filterable, and searchable tables with relevant links to external databases. Additionally, it includes in-line graphics for certain types of analyses, embedding these visual summaries directly within the report tables to provide a clear view of the underlying data. ReportingTools is notable for its flexibility and customization options, thanks to a well-defined API allowing easy adaptation to specific needs.
