STRINGdb
STRINGdb is a comprehensive resource that aspires to provide a global view of all available protein interaction data, encompassing known and predicted associations. The database covers over 1100 organisms and integrates interactions at various levels of detail, from raw data repositories to formalized pathway databases. The Authors have introduced several improvements in version 9.1. First, the automated mining of scientific texts for interaction information has been extended to include full-text articles. Second, the algorithm for transferring interactions between model organisms has been entirely re-designed. Also, users are now provided statistical information on any functional enrichment observed in their networks.
