SelSim
SelSim is a software tool for Monte Carlo simulation of DNA polymorphism data, specifically designed for a recombining region where a single bi-allelic site has undergone natural selection. It allows for simulation using either a fully stochastic or deterministic model of natural selection within a coalescent framework, and offers various mutation models for simulating surrounding neutral variation. SelSim facilitates the analysis of the effects of different selection models and strengths on diversity patterns, and can be used for both empirical data and the detection of natural selection.
