TreeAndLeaf

TreeAndLeaf is an R package to enhance the visualization of binary trees, specifically dendrograms. The motivation behind the tool lies in the limitations of traditional dendrograms, which offer limited space for presenting information on leaf elements, particularly in the context of large trees. Key features of TreeAndLeaf include a hybrid layout strategy that combines force-directed graph and tree layout algorithms. This hybrid approach enables the representation of tree diagrams with a specific focus on the leaves. The package facilitates the projection of multiple layers of information onto a graph-tree diagram, offering a more comprehensive and informative visualization.
