ViromeScan
ViromeScan is a software tool to analyze metagenomic data by characterizing the taxonomy of a virome from the next-generation sequencing (NGS) data. The ViromeScan tool works for the characterization of both bacteria and viruses. The Authors have tested it on metagenomic samples of the Human Microbiome Project. Requires: Bowtie2, Bmtagger tools from NCBI, Picard tools.
