curatedAdipoArray

"curatedAdipoArray" is an R experimental data package that serves as a comprehensive resource for gene expression data related to the 3T3-L1 cell line, a model for adipocyte differentiation in obesity and insulin resistance research. The package contains curated microarray datasets from the gene expression omnibus, focusing on differentiating 3T3-L1 cells under various genetic or pharmacological perturbations. Metadata were manually curated using standardized language, and a reproducible pipeline was employed to map and collapse probe intensities to genes. The curated datasets are available for analysis, and the package provides documentation on data collection, curation, and processing. The resource includes aggregated datasets for illustration and has been used to remove batch effects and reproduce biological observations effectively.
