mBrainAligner-Web
'mBrainAligner-Web' is a web-based tool designed to simplify and streamline the process of cross-modal registration of whole mouse brain images, especially for large datasets collected from various brain mapping projects. Cross-modal registration is essential for aligning images acquired using different techniques, labeling, and sample preparations to create coherent and integrated brain maps.
The 'mBrainAligner-Web' tool builds upon the mBrainAligner pipeline, which was developed for cross-modal registration but required users to have scripting or command-line skills to configure and run the different modules of mBrainAligner to meet their specific registration needs and platform settings.
With 'mBrainAligner-Web,' users can access a user-friendly web interface, eliminating the need for extensive technical expertise. This interface allows users to easily configure and run the mBrainAligner pipeline for cross-modal brain image registration. It provides a convenient solution for researchers who may not be familiar with scripting or command-line operations, enabling them to work with large brain image datasets more efficiently.
The tool is available online, and its source code is also accessible. This simplification of the cross-modal registration process can enhance the analysis and exploration of large brain image datasets.
