metaseqR2

metaseqR2 is a software tool designed for the in-depth analysis of RNA-Seq data, addressing challenges in normalizing and statistical analysis of differentially expressed gene patterns. The field lacks widely accepted standards for these tasks, and issues such as biases related to gene lengths and the detection of specific molecular types still need to be addressed. In response to these challenges, metaseqR2 builds upon the previously introduced PANDORA P-value combination algorithm, demonstrating its superior performance in optimizing the tradeoff between precision and sensitivity.

PANDORA-reported lists of differentially expressed genes are shown to be resilient to biases introduced by various normalization methods, making them a reliable input for downstream pathway analysis.
