microbiomeMarker

microbiomeMarker is an R/Bioconductor package for the characterization of microbiome biomarkers, with applications in translational medicine and precision medicine. The tool implements expected normalization and differential analysis (DA) methods and three supervised learning models to identify microbiome markers. It also facilitates the comparison of various DA and confounder analysis methods. microbiomeMarker employs standardized input and output formats, ensuring scalability and extensibility and enabling seamless interfacing with other microbiome packages and tools. Additionally, the package includes functions for visualizing and interpreting the identified microbiome markers.
