pulseTD

"pulseTD" is an R package for identifying RNA Life Cycle Dynamics (RLCD) by integrating 4sU-seq and RNA-seq data. Recognizing the complexity of the intracellular RNA life cycle, which encompasses transcriptional production, splicing, maturation, and degradation processes, pulseTD offers a solution for the accurate and robust identification of RLCD, a task that remains challenging, especially when the functional form of RLCD is unknown.

Key Features and Functionalities:

- Integration of 4sU-seq and RNA-seq Data: pulseTD utilizes both 4sU-seq and RNA-seq data, providing a comprehensive approach to capture the full spectrum of RNA life cycle dynamics.

- Flexible Functions for RLCD Rate Changes: The package includes flexible functions designed to capture continuous changes in RLCD rates, enabling a detailed analysis of RNA dynamics.

- Prediction of Future RNA Trends: Beyond identifying current RLCD, pulseTD can also predict trends of RNA transcription and expression changes at future time points, offering valuable insights for ongoing research and experimental planning.
