Projector 2 is a tool for mapping contigs and close gaps in prokaryotic genomes. The method implements the use of finished or unfinished genome assemblies as templates to infer linkage information in the sequenced organism. If there is no linkage information, the gap will be recommended for closure using PCR strategy. The tool has a user-friendly web interface.
