QuickProbs

QuickProbs

A multiple protein sequence alignment tool that is based on probabilistic models, employing a column-oriented and selective consistency in aligment refinement instead of commonly used strategies of increased alignment quality. The Authors claim Quick-Probs 2 to be "noticeably" better than ClustalΩ and MAFFT.
