CARNAC

CARNAC

CARNAC is a tool for the analysis and prediction of conserved secondary structures in homologous RNAs. The CARNAC algorithm uses a thermodynamic model to minimize the energies and mutual information in sequences. This way, CARNAC can predict sequences that share a secondary structure without the need for them to be aligned.
