MASCOT

MASCOT

Mascot is a web-based tool to identify proteins by integrating 1. peptide molecular weights from the digestion of a protein by an enzyme, 2. tandem mass spectrometry (MS/MS) data, 3. combine mass data with amino acid sequence data. Mascot supports AB Sciex, Agilent, Bruker, Jeol, Shimadzu, Thermo Scientific, and Waters instruments.
