GRAbB is a tool for assembling specific genomic loci by using these regions as baits to find corresponding reads (e.g. Illumina paired end reads) prior to de novo assembly. It can handle multiple loci assemblies simultaneously and is useful for assembling mitochondria genome, rDNA repeats and other poorly assembled regions of the genome.
